Illusionary - Fashion Film

“We are perceived in what we wear before we talk. From the color to the fabrics, the clothes you wear comes with preconceived notions. To challenge the preconceived notions that come with the idea of certain fabrics and silhouettes to create something that is far from its common use. This collection evokes a sense of intrigue and exploration within the realm of fashion. It suggests a collection that confronts and questions commonly held beliefs about clothing and style, through innovative design and unexpected combinations. This name implies a commitment to pushing boundaries and challenging preconceptions, inviting wearers to reconsider their perspectives on fashion.”

For this project, I collaborated alongside fashion designer, Eden Fowler, as video editor and to cut together this dynamic and inverted short fashion film. Working off of pre-made story boarding and drawing inspiration from Mugler Fall Winter 2021 Film . Bringing the intensity, fast cutting movement, reverse shots, and overlays to create this editorial.
